A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where did you score your pair?

Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!

I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .

How much do they run?

Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

Are they true to size?

I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.

Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.

How comfy are they?

Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..

Do they hold up well?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Next-level.

Would you recommend them?

Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
